ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

With more than 100 majors to choose from, UC Davis offers the greatest academic variety of any University of California campus. Our programs range from traditional fields such as English, chemistry and psychology to innovative cross-disciplinary majors such as nature and culture, international agricultural development and applied physics.

Can't choose between your passion for physics and your love of literature? Earning a double major is an option for students who have an above-average commitment to academics and who want more preparation in a second field of study than a minor can provide. Even with the great number of majors we offer, we realize that you may have interests so specific that they can't be served by any one program. That's why two of our colleges offer you the chance to create an individual major. Freshmen and second-year transfer students can apply with an undeclared or exploratory major.
