ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Each year, Illinois Wesleyan receives roughly 3,500 applications for an entering class of approximately 580 new students.  Admission can be very competitive, and prospective students are encouraged to visit campus and apply early.  IWU offers an Early Action program whereby all students who submit all application materials by November 15th will receive an admission decision between December 15th and January 15th (admit, deny, or defer).  All other students can apply under the Regular Decision program which has a recommended deadline of February 15th.  Regular Decision candidates are notified on a rolling basis after January 15th.  There is no fee to apply.
