Colorado Mountain College's Timberline Campus is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains with Colorado's highest mountain, Mt. Elbert, right in the back yard. At 10,000 feet, you'll find Turquoise and Twin lakes, the Arkansas River, and amazing views in abundance. Beginning and ending on-campus, the Mineral Belt Trail provides ten miles of mountain biking and skiing through forest and Leadville's historical mining district. Ski Cooper is 15 minutes away, and eight major ski areas, such as Vail and Beaver Creek, are within a one-hour drive from campus. Leadville itself is a town like no other and you will never forget or regret living here for two or four years.

Leadville Campus is home to many of Colorado Mountain College's popular outdoor-oriented programs like Outdoor Recreation Leadership, Ski Area Operations, and Natural Resource Managment.
