Students who will be enrolling at the start of the Fall 2011 will need to apply for financial aid for the 2011-12 school year.
Students must be eligible to apply for financial aid, so make sure that you meet the Eligibility Requirements before applying.
To apply for financial aid:
Complete the 2011-12 FAFSA*. The UC Denver school code is 004508
for both the Anschutz Medical Campus (AMC) and the Downtown Campus (DC)
. You will be required to enter this code on the FAFSA so that we may
receive your FAFSA results.
- *All students must have a Federal Student Aid PIN to complete the FAFSA.
- In addition, one parent of a dependent student, as determined by the FAFSA, must have a Federal Student Aid PIN to sign the FAFSA electronically.
- Your PIN will be good for the number of years that you are
applying for financial aid from your undergraduate to your graduate and
professional degrees. Apply for a PIN at www.pin.ed.gov and store your PIN in a secure location.
TIP: Allow up to an hour to gather your information and complete the FAFSA.
After your FAFSA has been processed, you will be notified by the FAFSA processor that your Student Aid Report (SAR)
is available to view, print or, if needed, make corrections. We
recommend that you review your SAR for errors, correct your FAFSA, make
sure our school code is on it and submit it for re-processing.
If you are unsure whether additional documentation is required, or if you have questions, contact the Financial Aid Office: 303-556-2886 or e-mail: financialaid@ucdenver.eduIMPORTANT: Please read all instructions very carefully to avoid delays in processing your financial aid. For more information visit Financial Aid.
Financial aid processing can take 6-8 weeks so don't delay.
