CAMPUS SUMMARY
Wesleyan is a private, liberal arts university. Founded in 1831 as a university for men, it was coeducational from 1872 to 1912, then readopted coeducation in 1968. Its 316-acre campus is located in Middletown, 15 miles south of Hartford and roughly 100 miles from both Boston and New York City.
