CAMPUS SUMMARY
New York Chiropractic College is located in Seneca Falls, New York, in the scenic wine-growing region of the Finger Lakes, a popular vacation spot less than a 45-minute drive from Syracuse, Rochester, and Ithaca. Outpatient clinics are located in DePew (near Buffalo), Syracuse and Levittown (Long Island). The 286-acre campus has 250 feet of frontage property on Cayuga Lake, the largest of the Finger Lakes. The college borders a state park and has a nine-hole, par-3 golf course on the campus. Established in 1919 in New York City as Columbia Institute of Chiropractic, the college is the oldest chiropractic institution in the Northeast. In 1976, it moved to Nassau County on suburban Long Island and moved again to a larger campus in upstate New York in 1991. The college is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and by the Council on Chiropractic Education. It holds an Absolute Charter from the Board of Regents of the University of New York.

UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
New York Chiropractic College offers a rigorous but highly rewarding program leading to the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) and prepares students for a professional career in chiropractic health care as well as in related research and teaching. The five-academic year program is ten trimesters in length. New York Chiropractic offers classes the year round, and students generally complete the program in 40 months of continuous study. The program is open only to full-time students. It includes two trimesters of internships at one of the college’s three health centers. The college also maintains a number of articulation agreements with institutions in New York and other states that offer prechiropractic programs. Several of these are 3+1 Joint-degree BS/DC programs, which enable the student to save a year in completion of the two degrees. NYCC’s Postgraduate Division offers continuing education for chiropractors to further their professional development and to satisfy the license renewal requirements of various states.
