CAMPUS SUMMARY
The University of North Carolina at Pembroke is a public arts and sciences university. Founded in 1887 to serve the Native Americans of the area, admission was opened in 1954 to all qualified applicants. Its 200-acre campus is located in Pembroke, in south-central North Carolina.
