Financial Aid Information for Accepted Students:

1. Request a PIN from the Department of Education at www.pin.ed.gov.  You must have this number to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).     

2. Complete the FAFSA online at www.FAFSA.ED.GOV as soon as possible after January 1.

3. Complete the Montreat College Scholarship Application.

4. Students receiving a loan for the first time will need to complete the appropriate paperwork, including the Stafford Entrance Counseling Interview and the Master Promissory Note (MPN).

To complete the Master Promissory Note, visit one of Montreat's three preferred lenders:

The Master Promissory Note is available online at each one of these sites. Students will need their Department of Education PINs in order to sign the MPN electronically.
