SIUE Scholarships and Financial Aid

SIUE recognizes academic excellence. High-achieving students may apply for competitive merit-based scholarships ranging in value from $2,000 to full tuiiton. Additional need-based awards and departmental scholarships are available.

SIUE tuition and fees are among the lowest of all four-year public universities in Illinois. Last year, our students received more than $96 million in financial aid, and more than 1,500 students are employed on campus.

Undergraduate students also benefit from our textbook rental program, saving up to several hundred of dollars each semester on many required textbooks.
