SIUE Transfer Admission Requirements

Applicants are considered transfer students when they present course work from regionally accredited two-year and four-year institutions, unless all hours were earned in college courses while still in high school.

  • Students who transfer with at least 30 semester hours in courses from an accredited institutions with a minimum 2.0/4.0 (C) grade point average will be admitted to SIUE.
     
  • Students who transfer with fewer than 30 semester hours also must submit a high school transcript and ACT/SAT test scores. These students must meet freshman admission requirements in such course work.

The easiest and best way to apply for admission is with the online application. There is a non-refundable $30 application fee. A few waiver is available for those who qualify. Click here to view information about obtaining a fee waiver.
