ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Undergraduate students at Quinnipiac find a wide range of activities to supplement their academic experience. Over 70 clubs and organizations, Division I athletics and a broad recreation and intramural program form the basis for student life. An Honors Program, an Emerging Leaders Program, Student Government, Multicultural Affairs, and Community Action Projects offer experience and interaction in a variety of ways.

Many academic programs are supplemented by clinical affiliations or internships in business, media organizations, hospitals, and social service organizations.

Students interested in theater arts will find an active theater program and an affiliation with the nearby New Haven Long Wharf Theater, an equity theater house, where several Quinnipiac performances are held each year. Plus, students can intern in a variety of ways at the Theater itself.

If sports are your interest, our 21 Divison I teams compete in the NEC, ECAC (mens and womens ice hockey) and the Great Western League (lacrosse).  Our new 3500 seat twin arena Sports Center (set to open January 2007) for basketball and ice hockey, plus a spacious recreation center, outdoor lighted tennis courts, and an artificial turf plus grass fields, provide excellent locations for athletic competition.
